11/02/08  RM SMS on Radio 4

The RM 2008 Primary School Management Survey highlighted that almost half of Primary schools are taking unencrypted data back-ups out of the school, potentially exposing them to loss or theft.

Radio 4 invited us to speak about why data security is such a problem for schools using the older, school-based, systems and how new technology can support schools in their bid to protect our children's data. Also speaking is Dave Tyler, Headteacher at St Thomas Primary School in Swansea.
